We had a wonderful opportunity to come together with Delany College to celebrate St Patrickโs Day Mass. ๐ Students were respectful and reverent as we gathered in faith, reflecting on the life of St Patrick and the message of hope, courage and trust in God. It was a beautiful celebration of community, bringing our schools together in prayer and unity. ๐โ

Year 5 used a range of strategies they had been learning to find unknown numbers in multiplication and division equations during their Mathematics lesson. Sharing their responses was a highlight, as students explained their thinking and discovered new ways to solve problems together. ๐๐โ๏ธ

Year 2 explored Godโs Creation in Religion, learning about the seven days of Creation in the Bible and discussing why and how we should respect and care for the world God has given us. Students represented their learning in a creative and meaningful way. The leaves symbolised nature and the beauty of Godโs creation, the stones represented us as humans who are called to care for the Earth, and the candle and cross reminded us that God is at the centre of all creation. It was wonderful to see students reflecting on how we can appreciate and protect the world God created for us. ๐๐ฟ๐ฏ๏ธ

Year 1 have been busy in Maths learning how to label bar models and match them with the correct number bonds. Through hands-on activities, students are building their understanding of how numbers can be broken apart and put back together. Itโs wonderful to see them developing their confidence and problem-solving skills! ๐๐โ๏ธ

Our Year 1 students are enjoying their weekly visits to the library! During this time, students are developing responsibility as they borrow and care for books, while also growing their love of reading and discovering new stories. Itโs wonderful to see their excitement each week as they choose books to take home.

NAPLAN: What Parents Really Need to Know
Each March, families across Australia hear a lot about NAPLAN. The National Assessment Program Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) assesses students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 in reading, writing, spelling, grammar and numeracy. But what does it really mean for your child in 2026?

Year 4 have been enjoying their sessions with Zing Activ as part of their wellbeing program. Students have been taking part in fun and engaging activities that help them learn about teamwork, positive relationships, and looking after their wellbeing. Itโs wonderful to see everyone getting involved and building important life skills together.

Year 3 have been learning about the Scripture passage Luke 5:5โ11 in Religion. Inspired by images of communities following Jesus Christ, students created their own artwork showing how we can build strong communities by bringing people closer to God. ๐ Their creative artworks beautifully reflected their understanding of faith, community, and working together. ๐

Congratulations to our students who have recently become Library Monitors! ๐ These students will help take care of our library by supporting younger students, keeping the space organised, and encouraging a love of reading across our school. Our Year 6 students have returned from an incredible camp experience! During camp, students challenged themselves and had lots of fun taking part in activities such as the flying fox, archery, and a variety of team-building challenges. It was fantastic to see them supporting one another, building confidence, and making great memories together. A wonderful experience for our Year 6 students!

Our Year 5 students had an exciting opportunity to visit Delany College and experience what itโs like to be a high school student for the day! ๐ Students explored the school, took part in fun activities, and enjoyed getting a glimpse of the subjects and opportunities that await them in high school. It was a wonderful day of learning, confidence building, and trying new things. A big thank you to Delany College for welcoming our students and making the day so special! ๐
