On the 11th of September our year, 5 students competed in a thrilling semi-final against St Patrick's primary at Guildford.
Our students provided a compelling argument for the exciting debate of “Reading is more educational than watching television”.
Unfortunately, our fantastic students were unsuccessful in winning the debate however it was a very close match as both teams stated very good points.
Our school community was so proud of their hard work and how much they improved in public speaking. We hope to see them using these skills… but hopefully not against the teachers!

Year 2 had a special visit from The Lorax this week! He read his story to the students and taught them about the importance of looking after and protecting our trees, animals and Godβs creation. The students were very engaged and excited to see a new face at school.05 Jun 2026

Year 4 had a wonderful day on excursion to Old Government House in Parramatta! ποΈ Throughout the day, students explored the historic grounds and deepened their understanding of Australia's history by learning about colonisation and the experiences of First Nations Peoples. They discovered how life has changed over time and gained valuable insights into the significance of this important historical site. Students also put their observation skills to work by completing detailed sketches of Old Government House from the front of the building. Before heading home, we enjoyed a relaxing walk through the beautiful parklands surrounding the site.
