On the 11th of September our year, 5 students competed in a thrilling semi-final against St Patrick's primary at Guildford.
Our students provided a compelling argument for the exciting debate of “Reading is more educational than watching television”.
Unfortunately, our fantastic students were unsuccessful in winning the debate however it was a very close match as both teams stated very good points.
Our school community was so proud of their hard work and how much they improved in public speaking. We hope to see them using these skills… but hopefully not against the teachers!

πβ¨ Book Fair Parade Fun! β¨π Yesterday our school came alive with colour, creativity, and characters! We celebrated our Book Fair Parade with students dressing up as their favourite book characters β and even some amazing original characters they created themselves! πβοΈπ Families also enjoyed visiting our open classrooms, where students took part in engaging activities inspired by the CBCA shortlisted books. What a wonderful way to celebrate reading, imagination, and our love of books! π14 Aug 2025
