On the 11th of September our year, 5 students competed in a thrilling semi-final against St Patrick's primary at Guildford.
Our students provided a compelling argument for the exciting debate of “Reading is more educational than watching television”.
Unfortunately, our fantastic students were unsuccessful in winning the debate however it was a very close match as both teams stated very good points.
Our school community was so proud of their hard work and how much they improved in public speaking. We hope to see them using these skills… but hopefully not against the teachers!

On Tuesday, we joined with Delany College to commemorate Remembrance Day. As a community, we paused to remember and honour the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. πΊ Students and staff reflected on the importance of peace, gratitude, and remembering those who gave their tomorrow for our today. π Lest we forget.
