Our Year 6 students have been having lots of fun in Science learning about reversible and irreversible changes π§ͺ They carried out simple experiments to see what happens when different materials change. Students explored which changes can be undone (like melting) and which changes canβt be changed back. There were lots of great discussions, careful observations and excited reactions as they watched the changes happen right in front of them! π Well done, Year 6 β we love seeing your curiosity in action!

βοΈβοΈ Kindergarten Update π Our Kindergarten students have been practising their tracing and cutting this week π They are learning to carefully trace over lines and shapes and to use scissors safely to cut along lines. These activities help strengthen their little hands and improve coordination, which supports their writing and other classroom tasks. We are so proud of the effort they are putting in and how much their confidence is growing each day π

During this Lenten season, our school community is proud to support Project Compassion π Each year, Caritas Australia invites us to take part in Project Compassion, encouraging us to βLive Simplyβ so that others may simply live. Through prayer, fundraising and acts of kindness, we stand in solidarity with vulnerable communities around the world. Throughout Lent, students will be learning about how their small actions can make a big difference. We encourage families to support Project Compassion by donating via the QR code and by having conversations about how we can help others in need. Together, we can make a meaningful impact this Lent π

On Tuesday, we were blessed to come together as a wider faith community for our Opening School Mass, celebrated alongside Delany College. It was a beautiful opportunity to begin the year in prayer, reflection and unity, as we placed our hopes, intentions and learning journeys into Godβs hands. During the Mass, we also proudly presented our student leaders with their badges, acknowledging their commitment to lead with responsibility, service and faith throughout the year. We are grateful for the chance to gather, share in worship and strengthen the connection between our schools as we look ahead to the year to come. A wonderful way to start the year grounded in faith, community and purpose π
