This term, our Year 5 boys proudly completed the Top Blokes Program, developing their confidence, leadership skills and positive decision making. Last week, they celebrated their achievements with a special graduation ceremony.

In Science, Year 6 have been learning about natural disasters! To finish their unit, students have been designing systems to help minimise the damage caused by events such as tornadoes, cyclones, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis and earthquakes. Check out what they’ve created so far! Next week, they’ll put their ideas to the test—seeing whether their volcano models can divert lava away from communities, whether their earthquake-proof buildings can reduce damage, and how their cyclone alert systems can help people seek shelter before a storm arrives. 💙

In Maths, 5A have been exploring how to collect and organise data! They’re very lucky to have Miss Fadoul guiding them as they gather information and learn to display it clearly using graphs and tables in Excel. The students have loved turning their data into charts and seeing their work come to life on screen.

Year 3 have been busy mastering the skill of telling the time! Students have been exploring both analogue and digital clocks, practising hour, half-hour and minute intervals, and challenging themselves with real-life time problems. Their confidence is growing every lesson as they read, compare and record times with increasing accuracy.

Kindergarten have been busy learning how to sort and organise objects into groups! This week, our little learners explored how items can be grouped by colour, shape, size and purpose. It was wonderful watching them chat, compare and problem-solve together as they created their own collections.

In Literacy, Year 1 have been exploring the Aboriginal story Collecting Colour. They used this as inspiration in Creative Arts, creating colourful collages and drawing a variety of objects that matched their chosen colour. Their artwork was vibrant, thoughtful and full of creativity!🎨🖌

Our students in Year 1 have been learning about reconciliation and what it means to say sorry, make things right, and rebuild friendships. Together, they wrote their own “sorry prayers” onto paper doves — a beautiful symbol of peace and new beginnings.🙏🏼🕊
